Special Event Planning

Everyone knows that a seminar, party or other special event can be a great business development tool. Conceiving of an event is one thing; putting it together, and running it successfully, is quite another.

The detail work of a special event - location, invitations, speakers, food, and a thousand other elements - can be overwhelming. Many businesses simply don't have the know-how or manpower to manage it. The Broydrick Group does.

Our experience includes the “A to Z” organizing of special events for clients throughout a broad range of services and industries. Whether your goal is to inform, entertain or build a base for future business, the Broydrick Group can help put together an event to remember.

Special Events

WCAP

The Broydrick Group was hired to plan a trucking safety seminar for the Waukesha County Aggregate Producers that drew more than 400 truckers, dispatchers and managers of transportation companies. Attendance greatly exceeded the expected turnout of 250 (based on RSVPs), requiring quick shuffling and addition of seating and refreshments. Speakers included the Waukesha County Sheriff and District Attorney.

WE Energies

Open houses:

We have planned and carried out numerous open houses for We Energies to help neighbors and local officials learn about proposed utility infrastructure projects. These events feature informational displays and the opportunity to talk one on one with residents, answer questions and hear concerns.

Community dinners:

A series of community dinners for We Energies to address the proposed expansion of the Oak Creek Power Plant with residents of Oak Creek and Caledonia. At least two dinners were held monthly for eight months, along with luncheons for senior citizens. The dinners and luncheons are still held periodically to address progress of the plant expansion project.

Other events:

We planned two fun, festive events, “KidsFest” and “SeniorFest” for We Energies to teach kids and senior citizens about energy, especially safety issues. Both events featured games, prizes, interactive displays and take-home photos. KidsFest drew nearly 500 both times it was held; SeniorFest drew over 100.
