Renee Bowerman

Renee Bowerman has an extensive background in project management of real estate developments, and intricate knowledge of the regulatory and permitting processes associated with them. She works closely with government officials and staff and carefully navigates through the process required to obtain the approvals needed to turn a proposed project into reality. Her engineering and construction background enable her to work closely with municipal planners and engineers as well as the technical consultants on a project. It also helps Renee to explain the specifics of a proposal to members of the community that are just concerned about how a proposal will impact them. Renee is able to respond using understandable language without getting too technical.  She has been deeply involved in projects in the retail, multifamily, industrial and healthcare industries.  She enjoys researching, reading and learning everything she can about a new client or new industry.

Prior to joining the Broydrick Group in 2004, she worked eight years at Continental Properties Co. as a Vice-President and Development Director, overseeing multimillion-dollar projects in several states. She has extensive experience with issues involving annexation, rezoning, site plan approvals and environmental and development permitting. She assists clients with “due diligence” matters such as surveys, geotechnical reports, environmental investigations, wetland delineations and traffic impact analyses. Her background also includes work in civil engineering and infrastructure and architectural design.

Renee earlier worked for Payne & Dolan, Inc. managing paving projects for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, local governments and private property owners.  She was also involved with special projects at the company’s quarries and asphalt plants. She holds an M.B.A. in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, also from UW-Madison.
